This bed would be hard to compete with. Safety for both patient and staff is ensured by a robust and durable steel frame that allows the bed to reach a load capacity of 500 kg (1100 lbs). Stable four-post construction
When developing the bed, we placed emphasis on safety, stability and load-bearing capacity, which is why we chose four electric motors to lift the bed surface.
In order to meet the requirements and possibilities of our customers, we offer the bed in two width variants, namely 100 and 120 cm. If the layout of the interior allows it, we always recommend choosing the 120 cm width.
The bed surface made of high-pressure laminate (HPL) is the ideal support for an anti-decubitus mattress and the ideal choice for easy maintenance. All parts are fully electrically adjustable.
Electric lifting of the bed surface
The large range of the bed surface lift reduces the effort for the attending staff and facilitates the handling of the recumbent patient. The lowest position of the bed surface makes it easier for the patient to exit the bed.
Electric adjustment of the length of the bed surface
The electrically adjustable bed length allows the bed to be continuously lengthened and shortened by up to ±10 cm. This feature not only brings comfort to taller patients, but is also a significant help when transporting the bed and passing through confined spaces such as lifts. For the TITAN bed, special active and passive anti-decubitus mattresses have been developed with the function of automatically adapting to the length of the bed surface without the need to add or remove additional mattress parts.

X-rayable loading surface
The design of the bed surface allows comfortable and safe scanning with conventional X-ray machines directly at the bedside. This allows specialised examinations or procedures to be performed directly at the bedside without having to move the patient.
Reversible lateral tilt
Significantly reduces the physical effort of the nursing staff in the daily care of the patient, especially when turning the patient, performing personal hygiene and changing the linen. Maximum patient safety is ensured by increased protective barriers that are inserted into special holders along the bed. At the same time, the bed is equipped with an electronic safety system that prevents positioning in lateral tilt without properly positioned raised barriers. Attending staff will appreciate the lateral tilt in combination with the foot control. When positioning the bed surface with the foot controls, both hands remain free.
Automatic lateral therapy
It is a significant benefit especially for patients at high risk of postoperative respiratory complications and patients at high risk of developing decubitus. The hospital staff will appreciate the possibility of easy individual adjustment of all parameters of the selected therapy, in up to eight adjustable programs of 24 hours duration.
Foot control with safety button
The bed is equipped with foot controls with safety buttons for bed lift, lateral tilt, examination position and CPR. The control is equipped with a safety activation button located on the underside.
Nurse control with LCD
The innovative nurse control with LCD brings convenient and safe bed control in any situation. The integrated LCD offers a clear display of current function statuses, warning and alarm indication, automatic weighing system and automatic lateral therapy functions. The nurse control also allows individual functions of all other controls to be locked.
Quick access to the patient
RRS (Rapid Remove System) head and foot board removal significantly speeds up patient access at critical moments.

The fully electrically reclining bed allows a wide range of adjustments to the different parts of the bed surface. Both staff and patient can conveniently adjust the individual positions using the hand control.
Direct bed exit position
An invaluable benefit to patients and nursing staff is the direct exit position, which provides the option for the patient to exit the bed through the foot board area. The unique design allows the bed surface to be adjusted to a chair position for maximum patient support when leaving the bed. It is the safest way for bariatric patients to get up and sit down, reducing physical strain on the patient and the nursing staff. The patient does not have to roll over to the side of the bed while getting up.
Folding side rails
Patient protection from falling is guaranteed by the folding side rails. Folding is ensured by a robust yet one-handed mechanism equipped with fall dampers. In the lowest position, the side rails are placed sufficiently below the level of the mattress and do not prevent the patient from leaving the bed.
Patient satellite remote control with LED light
The bed is equipped with a satellite control on a flexible bracket that allows the patient to position the bed. The control moves with the bed surface, making it easily accessible to the patient at all times in any position. The controller is available in two graphic designs.

TENTE brand wheels
Special double anti-static TENTE medical castors with a diameter of 150 mm and increased load capacity significantly facilitate transport and handling of the bed even under maximum load.
The fifth castor ensures easy and intuitive handling of the bed. This feature is particularly useful in rugged areas and when the bed is handled by one person.
Safe handling of the bed is ensured by a centrally operated brake. Thanks to the possibility of locking one wheel in the direct direction of travel, the bed can be easily operated by only one person during transport.
Robust impact castors
The impact castors located at the corners of the bed surface are a great help, especially during transport.
Metal headboards with HPL filling
Provide excellent protection for the patient against falling from the bed and very good bed guidance during transport. Disinfection and maintenance are very simple due to the smooth surface and design of the headboards.
Plastic chassis cover
Thanks to the plastic chassis cover, we make the daily cleaning of the bed easier and faster. The cover also protects the mechanisms and electrical circuits in the chassis, extending the life and reliability of the bed.
Compatibility of the bed with accessories is ensured by four accessory holders located at the four corners. Two are designed for the use of poles and two for other accessories such as infusion stands.
Horizontal accessories holder
The standardised stainless steel euro rail for hanging accessories is equipped with three universal plastic hooks on both sides of the bed.
SPECIALLY DESIGNED MATTRESS FOR THE TITAN BED
ARSOS® BARIATRIC active anti-decubitus mattress
The ARSOS® BARIATRIC anti-decubitus system is specially designed for the TITAN bariatric bed. The system is fully optimized for the increased demands of bariatric patients. The patented hybrid airfoam technology brings support for the prevention and treatment of decubitus up to EPUAP level IV in patients with a body weight of up to 450 kg (the maximum bed load must not be exceeded). The system combines a passive mattress for the prevention of decubitus up to grade II and an active mattress for the prevention of decubitus up to grade IV. The ARSOS®BARIATRIC mattress combines the best features of both systems. Unlike air-only systems, the unique concept of foam reinforcement inside each cell brings a flatter chamber shape. This allows for an optimal distribution of the patient's weight over a larger surface area, thereby reducing pressure on the skin. Due to the flat positioning of the individual chambers, the total height of the mattress is only 12 cm, thus fully preserving the protective function of the siderails. The possibility to operate in passive mode (as a passive mattress) greatly facilitates acute admissions where no prior preparation is required. Moreover, the mattress can be put into active mode at any time, even with the patient lying down. This feature is particularly invaluable in the case of acute resuscitation, where it is not necessary to manipulate the patient afterwards to bring the mattress back into working order. In addition, the unique connection of the individual mattress cells allows the length of the mattress to be automatically extended or shortened along with the bed surface.
Passive anti-decubitus mattress
A single-sided sandwich anti-decubitus mattress designed for bariatric patients. The mattress is suitable for low risk of decubitus (level I). The lower support layer made of PUR foam ensures high load-bearing capacity and long-term stability of the mattress. The cross-sections of the middle layer improve air circulation and also divide the mattress into 3 zones according to firmness. The mattress top layer made of cold HR foam gives the mattress optimal rigidity and guarantees excellent weight distribution of the patient. The height of the mattress is 15 cm. The mattress is automatically lengthened or shortened depending on the length of the bed surface.
