Verticalization of the patient

VERTICO is a unique design that allows dual use of the bed. It combines the advantages of a standard hospital bed and a verticalization device. Early rehabilitation and mobilisation of the patient can be done directly on the bed without the need to move the patient to other rehabilitation devices. In particular, this eliminates the risk of injury to the patient during transfer and the increased workload for medical staff. The rehabilitation process can be started much earlier.

 

Load capacity

The solid and stable construction with a safe operating load of up to 200 kg provides safe support even when caring for patients with higher weight.

 

Height adjustment of the mattress platform

The increased range of the bed lift reduces the strain on staff and facilitates the patient handling. The reduced minimum height of the mattress platform assists the patient in exiting the bed.

 

Comfortable positioning

The electric positioning of the back and thigh section in combination with the mechanical positioning of the calf section allows a wide range of adjustment of the individual parts of the mattress platform. The staff and patient can conveniently adjust the individual positions using the hand control.

 

Quick access to the patient

RRS (Rapid Remove System) head board removal significantly speeds up patient access at critical moments.


 

Double autoregression

Automatically moving the back and thigh away from the pelvis during positioning significantly reduces the effect of shearing forces and pressure on the patient, which are the main causes of decubitus. The double autoregression brings greater comfort to patients and reduces discomfort in the abdominal area that normally occurs during bed positioning without this feature.

 

Mattress platform

The mattress platform made of solid metal slats helps to disinfect the bed faster and more effectively. The individual parts of the bed surface are designed to provide maximum support for the mattress and optimally dissipate moisture and temperature under the patient. The metal construction guarantees a long service life.

 

Foldable siderails

The safety of the patient on the bed is ensured by removable folding siderails. The easy folding of the siderails with two independent movements significantly reduces the risk of accidental folding. The folded siderails are positioned sufficiently below the mattress platform to easily exit the bed.


 

Removable siderails

Easily removable siderails improve bed clearance through narrow spaces, without the requirement of any tools.

Fixation belts

The bed is equipped as standard with a set of safety belts that can be easily fixed to the bed. The belts provide support during verticalization and protect the patient from the risk of falls.


 

Footboard padding

The bed can be supplied with a special footboard cover. Simply attaching it to the footboard creates a soft surface on the inside that is comfortable for the patient. The patient's lower limbs do not come into contact with the cold and hard material during vertical movement. After removal, the cover can be easily disinfected outside the bed.

 

Patient control

The ergonomic patient control allows easy one-handed operation of the bed. The controller is equipped with a function against unwanted use and allows the locking of individual functions.

 

Universal accessories holders

Two are located at the head board and two at the foot board. They allow to use of accessories such as lifting pole and handle, IV pole, monitor holder, additional side rails, bedside lamp or extension kit.


 

Bumper wheels

The bumper wheels located at the four corners of the bed are a great help especially during transport.


 

Plastic chassis cover

Facilitates and speeds up daily cleaning of the bed. Protects the mechanisms and electrical circuits in the chassis, extending the life and reliability of the bed.


 

Mattress holders

The mattress holders ensure optimal positioning of the mattress when positioning the mattress platform.


 

Branded wheels TENTE

High-quality medical castors reduce the physical effort of the nursing staff during transport and handling of the bed. Castors are made of permanent, non-marking material. Castor covers facilitate cleaning, protect bearings from dirt and significantly extend service life.

Central brake

Safe handling of the bed is ensured by a centrally controlled brake. Easy operation via foot pedals accessible from both sides of the bed allows for immediate braking.  Thanks to the possibility of locking the wheels in the straight direction of travel, the bed can be easily operated by only one person during transport.
