The innovative hybrid air-foam system combines the advantages of a passive and active mattress in one unit (replacement mattress). The extremely low-pressure system ensures maximum prevention and support for the treatment of pressure ulcers up to grade IV (very high risk) and at the same time significantly extends the life of the compressor. The mattress consists of 10 flat air cells that evenly distribute the patient's weight (max. 250 kg) over a larger area, effectively reducing pressure on the skin. One cell under the head has a cushioning function and three cells in the torso area are equipped with a micro-ventilation system that reduces heat and humidity. Thanks to the total height of only 12 cm, the function of the bed sides is fully preserved, thus minimizing the risk of the patient falling. The integrated passive part of the mattress allows it to be used even without initial inflation, which simplifies the acute admission of the patient. Reinforced edges make it easier to get up and at the same time provide support for the nursing staff. The mattress is available in two widths – 80 cm or 90 cm – and is equipped with a semi-automatic compressor that automatically adjusts the pressure according to the patient's weight.
